Do you mean KB923980 ? If so, XP Home Edition or Pro ?
For XP Pro, rename nwapi32.dll found in the WINDOWS\system32 folder to
nwapi32.old. Restart the system and see if the update installs correctly
without it being reoffered.
If XP HE, is it listed in Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel ?
IF so, show hidden files, folders, and system files -
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tuto...l62.html#winxp
Navigate to the WINDOWS\$hf_mig$ folder
Open it, then open the KB933980 folder
Open the SP2QFE folder
*Right* click nwapi32.dll and choose COPY
Open the WINDOWS\system32
*Right* click a BLANK area and choose PASTE
If a message comes up about replacing the existing file click YES
Restart the system
IF you ever will be using the Client Service for Netware in the future,
advise you to register the .dll file by going to Start > Run > type in
regsvr nwapi32.dll
Click OK. A confirmation window will apppear that the .dll has been
registered.
