The only link that makes sense computer-wise that Googling for DirectPort
brings up is one for a D-Link card. I found this on a CNET download site
(presumably the download is for the drivers):

"From D-Link - D-Link DMF-560TXD DirectPort PC Card:The D-Link DMF-560TXD is
a Direct PortTM 10/100Mb Dual Speed Ethernet PC Card with an integrated
V.90/K56flex Data/Fax Modem. It allows a PC user to seamlessly connect to
both Ethernet and Fast Ethernet LANs. The D-Link DMF-560TXD also allows
users to send and receive faxes, connect to the Internet, and dial into a
Remote Access Server or PC using this one PCMCIA PC Card solution."

So if you've got this hardware, it isn't working properly. Possibly
reinstalling the drivers or, if there is any specialized software that
comes with Windows disabling it from running, might help. Someone else may
know more exactly about this card but hopefully this will get you started
in the right direction.

I'm glad that worked for you. Thanks for taking the time to let me know.
