RE: Unfamiliar with new update

It's a typo.. and I don't know which update it is. I dont know where I could
find which update it is. I am very Vista illiterate. I just know that as soon
that it says updates are available, I let it update.

Okay, two things you'll need to do.

1. reconfigure WU to notify only at this stage (see tutorial for assistance)

2. I would suggest a system restore to a time before the problems started
(see tutorial for assistance)

If this is out of your depth seek assistance from a reputable person/dealer
rather than screwing things totally up.
