Re: my earlier question regarding the 'Up-date Failure error: 0x800A1391

I read 'MowGreen' reply and tried as suggested. But in my registry the line
suggested is different.

I do not have the regedit line as laid out in the sheet: kb/910341

"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows
NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\Notify\SensLogn" as shown on sheet.

I have only:-
"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows
NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\Notify\dimsntfy "

Why did the forum not refresh to put the original post at the top of the
listing, where I replied.

You receive an "Initialization error 0x800A1391" error message and the
Windows Update Web site does not appear

Thanks, but if you read my earlier post further down the listing.

A post was put forward for a number reasons why I cannot Update along with
another error I sometimes get and this KB page was one of those reasons for
checking why I can't Update.

Why does'nt these posts update to the top of this listing like other
sites????.

In future I'll ignore duplicated postings about the same issue by the same
person or which refer to a previous posting so as to avoid confusion. Perhaps
in the future, you should stick to your original posting.

Still have'nt answered about why the forum don't update the listings to the
top as others.
