I am facing the same issue. I run Microsoft Update manually to install the
updates and yet, Windows Automatic Update still detect that the updates are
not installed. However, the updates in question is a little different from
Style23's as mine involves:
MSXML 4.0 SP2 Security Update (925672)
MSXML 4.0 SP2 Security Update (KB927978)
A quick check on my installation history shows that the updates has been
sucessfully installed for 21 times. Can anyone please help?
