I'm having a similar problem with W2KPro.

Only since yesterday though. My auto updates are set to download and I
choose when to install. I have had the download icon at 0% since yesterday
and nothing has changed even with the changing of the settings in the Auto
download section.
I have also notice, strangely, that I can't access the windows update web
page manually.

Any ideas would also be very grateful.

FWIW from my location (Germany) it looks like the Microsoft servers are
running under heavy load and aren't even reachable all time...

I'm based in Ireland.
I had heard that there is a windows office 2007 update out a couple of days
ago. Although my other computer updated no problem.
