If the phone only syncs with Outlook and a web interface...no amount of effort will sync the Windows Contacts between the two
devices. The Contacts must be in an application that the phone can recognize.
Fyi...if the Export option is not present..ensure the Windows Contacts folder is configured properly
The default Windows Contacts folder in Vista is found in your user profile
C:\Users\<your windows ID>\Contacts
- Single click to select the Contacts folder (ensure you have selected the Contacts folder)
- Rt. Click and select Properties
- Click on Customize tab and choose 'Contacts' for the option 'Use this folder type as a template'
The folder view in Explorer should no provide(Organize, Views, New Contact, New Contact Group, Import, and Export). To Export
select one, more than one, or all, click Export, and save as a Csv file.
- Note: The Csv file may or may not import into your phone(which may be why Outlook was suggested).
