I have a simular problem. I have a 256mb Lexar USB2.0 jump drive that
worked fine under SP1, but ever since I went to SP2, if I move or copy any
files to and from the drive, eventually I get a I/O error, one that I have
never gotten before. I uninstalled the USB drives in Hardware manager and
reinstalled them, still same problem. I even went to BIOS and set the speed
to USB 1.1 only, still no help.
