Hi, George.

WOW! 11 days and this is the first that WE have heard of it! :^{
You apparently posted originally in some forum somewhere that has only today
(2/16/09) forwarded it here to the Microsoft public newsgroups. This is the
ONLY post that I see here from "GeorgeDidIt" since at least November 2008.
> I use GigaNews
Perhaps that explains it. Why don't you cut out the middleman and post your
question directly to:
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsof....vista.general
And please make your next post more readable. I got lost in the first
couple of paragraphs and never could get back on track. We know much of
your life history, but we don't know the make and model of your computer, or
if it is a homebuilt, or how many hard drives, whether they are SATA or SCSI
or something else, or if this computer is part of a network or...??? Often,
a slow startup is because of hardware, even if the software is working
properly. Sometimes the boot process spends time looking for hardware that
is supposed to be there but can't be found. We need to know about your
system in order to help you.
