Try booting into Safe Mode, the run System Restore (All Programs >
Accessories > System Tools) and restore to an earlier point before the
problem started happening. Sounds like a buggy driver. Have you contacted HP
support about the issue? Also, check your Problem Reports and Solutions for
any logged error reports that might be of use in helping diagnose the
problem.
