Thanks Gary,

On the Location tab for contacts there wasn't a Location tab, because for
some reason "My Documents" folder had become my Contacts folder! so I did
what you said on the Location tab of My Documents folder (which was pointing
to the actual location of the folder on another partition).

This corrected the location and copied the folder into the User's Files, but
still My Documents folder had the contacts' info and my Contacts folder was
just a regular folder!

So I took a chance and deleted the My Documents folder in the User's file
(the original on the other partition was intact). At first both My Documents
folder and Contacts folder disappeared and nothing happened when I clicked
the Contacts shortcut; however, after a reboot, Contacts was back and
everything works fine ;-)

What a weird annoyance!

Thanks for your help,

Bijan

No need to mess with the registry.
Navigate to C:\Users\username\ and right-click on the Contacts
folder, then Properties, Location. Fix the displayed location.
