1) Start the machine with the windows CD in the CD drive ( on
your machine the bottom one of the two drives )
2) When it says "Press any key to boot from CD " Press any key
3) Let it run through till you get the screen which gives you the
choices

.. To setup windows Xp now, press enter
..
..To repair a windows Xp installation using the recovery console
press R

.. To Quit setup without installing windows XP press F3

You must set out to install windows so press enter. Then
wait for the next screen.
4) Eventually you will see the Licence agreement. You need to
press F8. you may have trouble with this on your keyboard so you may
need to press the enable functions button to be able to do this.
5) The next screen will ask you if you wish to repair the
installation of windows Xp that it finds. You do not wish to do this
and should press the esc button
6) The next screen gives you a list of existing partitions, since
you are doing a clean install you must use the arrow keys to find the
partition that has your windows installation on it. Then since you
are doing a clean install you need to press D to delete the
partition.
7) The next screen is a warning screen telling you that you have
selected a system partition and that you will lose all the information
on it. To do a clean installation you must press enter.
8) Another warning screen. Basically saying " are you sure "
You should be and should press L
9) This screen asks you where you want to put windows. The list
of possibles now includes an unpartitoned space which is already
highlighted you should press enter to install windows here.
10) This screen says that the partition must be formatted and
offers you choices for how to do it. The default option is to format
the partition using the NTFS file system. This is what you want so
press enter.
11) Next screen shows it formatting with progress on a slider.
12) Now windows examines the disk
13) Now windows copies files. This will take a while
14) Now it initiallises the windows installation
15) Now it says it will reboot.
