Well I suppose the question would be HOW are you setting it?

You need to uncheck that 'automatically manage ...' box in the top left,
click on 'Custom Size', set your sizes, and then on 'Set' when done.

i did but it did not work! sorry but i might be setting it wrong,meaning as
how much.

instead.

have not read the beginning of this discussion.

if your hard drive as you believe is not up to vista speed standards.
then just buy a faster one.
they are fairly cheap these days.

have you tries PCPitstop and or HDSpeed to see what the performance really is.
you need to stop/block all other programs when testing.
you can do this using msconfig.
