I installed it a while back and found that half of the drivers
for my hardware was unavailable,it is also resource hungry and
overly security conscious.
I re-installed XP,no problems again.

It becomes each to his or her own, I have used Vista 64 bit for a
couple of years now and it is superb on my machine, but in February
decided to try XP64 bit to see whether my perceptions of vista were
coloured by familiarity. I found Xp 64bit to be difficult to find
drivers for, and that it was much slower on my machine than the
comparable Vista 64bit, so within days I went back to Vista.

I have Vista, and had NO problems getting it to work,
and it works FAR better than ANY previous version, and I
WAS a VERY happy user of W2K for MANY years.

Good for you, but a system without drivers is a waste of space,
for me.There's plenty of folk like me who've had similar stories
with Vista.

I have heard a LOT of people complain about different things
in Vista. I've asked for details, and almost NEVER gotten
any.

WHAT device or devices did YOU fail to find drivers for?
