RE: win xp update and norton update gives error

i have this error when trying to do a windows update tonight. Error number:
0x80070424. I also have had the same problem as this guy. When booting
computer , Norton auto protect is disabled. This has been going on since my
last windows update. I tried all the norton fixes to correct this problem and
nothing. Restarting computer and quickly opening norton and selecting auto
protect gets it to work but u have to do it everytime.

On this update for SP2. Please if anyone has any insight please reply. If
not i will be forced to get cd. By the way when trying to get update
tonight windows automaticly Updated for Background Intelligent Transfer
Service (BITS) 2.0
But then when trying to download updates i get error.
