Try creating a new user (or booting into safe mode to do this) and login as
the new user. Will this resolve the issue?

Or try logging into admistrator. Do you have this issue?

Try opening Run (or recovery console) and:

sfc /scannow

IF this doesn't work,

chkdsk c: /f

If this doesn't work,

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

(Create a Win2003 Boot disk and and copy the registry repair files from the
above download link).

Slipstream Windows Server 2003:
http://www.petri.co.il/windows_2003_...pstreaming.htm

Can you elaborate why you cannot run CHKDSK on your system drive? Try
running in Recovery Console.

Create a Win2003 Boot disk:

But once done, copy the registry fixing files from the boot disk that you
created from the Win2000 Registry repair thingy.

Let me suggest that you start backing up important files (or imaging your
hard disk) and get a new hard disk ready (or do a reformat on the curent
machine) and restore the data onto it.
