If you uninstall ZA then you can use Defender.
Why do you think the system needs to be have a ZA suite ...
To monitor outbound traffic ? [Windows Advanced Firewall does that]
To protect it from spyware ? [Windows Defender does that]
Here's something for you to think on ... if the system gets infected by
malware, why would you trust ZA to allow outbound traffic since ZA will
probably be infected, too ?
Sorry, I'm not a fan of these security 'suites'. A standalone antivirus
that is designed to monitor the OS, a hardware firewall in a router,
Windows Defender, and the native Vista firewall are sufficient protection.
Add running in a Standard User account and, in fact, with a little
common sense, no AV is needed.
Unfortunately, common sense seems to be in short supply when it comes to
computer Users.
