On the basis of your report, it seems probable that your MS products are
genuine, but that your PC is suffering a false positive, owing to an update
installation problem which has left the WGA software in an improper state,
or some other software problem in Windows which needs fixing.
Whether this can be repaired depends on what damage "Cleanse" has done to
your system: let's hope nothing significant. You might need to back up to a
System Restore before your use of "Cleanse".
The best forum for fixing your problems is at:
http://forums.microsoft.com/Genuine/...=442&SiteID=25
where Microsoft WGA staffers can respond directly. Read the "sticky"
threads at the top first, as they might solve your problems without you need
ing to post again.
If you wish to remain in this Windows Update forum, then please carry out
the following steps:
Send Internet Explorer to:
http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/diag/
and click "Start Diagnostics" and follow through the instructions. When you
get to the end, click "Windows Validation" to refresh your WGA software.
Now check whether your problems are fixed.
If not, please download and run the MGA Diagnostic tool:
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=56062
then click the "Copy to Clipboard" button and paste the results into a
follow-up in this thread.
