If so, it would behoove you to either reformat the drive and reinstall
XP, or, with assistance, be as certain that you can be that the trojan
and it's related malware no longer are resident.
If you choose the latter course then suggest the changing of ALL
passwords and User Names for all activities where you do NOT want a bad
guy to have either the P/W or U/N.
Doing Windows Updates are the least of your problems right now.
Restoring the OS' security and functionality are the first two issues
you need to deal with.
