RE: Windows Live (and Messenger) suddenly stopped working

I was actually able to find a similar problem described on MSDN. According to
them, the problem is solved by resetting the Router. I did that and the
problem was solved. However, I will REALLY like to know what the problem is
so I can prevent it in the future. The link to the reference is :
