Let's remember that Mac OSX might not even have 7% if it wasn't
force-installed on Macs.

Yes, I'm serious: people think MS cheats because Windows is pre-installed on
most new PCs, thus forcing up the sales figures. But if you think that's a
valid argument for Windows, it's got to apply to Macs, too.

In fact, Windows is arguably slightly less "forced", because a number of
vendors will install Linux on a new box if you ask them, whereas if you want
a Mac, you get no choice at all.
