Might have a work around for this...
I have a T-Mobile MDA Vario III ( HTC TyTN II / Kaiser ).
What I do is this.
1) Connect Via Bluetooth to my PC, this always connects and syncs
2) Disconnect after sync.
3) Plug in cable to sync via USB, PC always sees the PPC and syncs!
Sometimes I plug in the USB cable once BT connection established , the BT
connection is maintained and the PPC is charged.
