BTW, for convenience, I put a link to tinyurl on my toolbar.

Some posters somewhere have also pointed out that tinyurl gives you the
choice of going to an intermediate page where the actual link is displayed,
so you don't have to click the link blindly. I don't recall how it's done,
but it's clear on their site.
