RE: Windows Update Error # 0x80072EFD when using Norman Personal Firew

Hi,

As I understand you are getting error 0x80072EFD when you try to run latest
windows updates from windows update site. To resolve this issue follow the
knowledge base article given below.

Hi Harish

Sorry, already tried that and still doesn't work. The only thing that has
helped is to shutdown the firewall.

Hi

Configure your firewall to let traffic from WU through.

WU5 uses TCP port 80 and 443 (you might need UDP as well).

Open TCP/IP port 443 for https://v5.windowsupdate.microsoft.com (to
allow https traffic from the WU site).
