Clayton.
Why? since V5 is already releasing the final version.
Within a few weeks V5 will be the only option for Windows XP.

You can manually type V4 in the address and use V4 temporarily.
Unless you had Automatic Update enabled and the final release of V5
installed in which case you are V5.

I don't mind using V5 it's just that I don't want to miss any updates that
V4 offers that V5 doesn't, but I guess it's all the same weather you are
using V4 or V5

I installed the V5 the day it came out(4 days ago or so) and on that day that
In installed it, it would let me go to the new update page, and then next day
it would take me to the V4 page.. I figured that when i would install SP2
that it would FIX THAT... but it is still the same thing. I can manually type
in the v5 site, and it is like it starts to go to it, and like it forwards me
to the V4 site... And I was getting an error when I tried to run the V4
site.. not sure what the error was now, looked like the one you posted, but
it said that I needed to install the active x thing again, so I downloaded
it... and when it went to install it said that there was already a newer
version installed, and asked if I wanted to overwrite it.. I tried to find
info on what to do, but coulnd't. So I went ahead and installed the active x
thing... I hoped that after I would install V4 again, that it would let me
install V5 again. But I can't go to it for nothing. If I go to windows site,
and go to windows update, type it manually, IE tools and windows update...
same thing, takes me to the V4 WU page. And I read that SP2 will use the V5
site, so I wo
