First, you can try going back to a restore point earlier than the failed
update that caused your issues. Second, if you wish to address this problem
with people who can help, you should post in the discussion group for
Windows Update, rather than in this .NET programming group. The group you
want is:

microsoft.public.windowsupdate

Which update? And is that code hex or decimal?
