Drop the idea of Synmantec and install a superior anti virus solotion.

There are many out there with Avira AntiVir, Kaspersky, Nod32 topping the list and even
Microsoft Security Essentials would be *better*.

And I've used the free Avira for a year without difficulty (via a hard
router). Prior was using NOD32 for 3 years and it was also excellent,
but it's not free. Another freebie many people enjoy is AVG. Prior
to usage of NOD32 I was using Symantec, but won't them near my
computer -- everything they touch slows down the computer. If
Symantec came with your computer suggesting you purchase,
recommendation is that you use Symantec's uninstall program and clean
it off your machine completely -- after running it I only found 2
entries in the reg.
