| Heey there,
|
| We installed WSUS a few months ago, but we couldn't test it, cause we were
| to busy.
| Now we want to test it, and run in to several problems.
| First, we came to the conclusion, that computers with the same Ghost-image,
| can not be in WSUS. The SID is the same, so there is always just 1 computer
| in the list. Fixed this, by deleting the SID (It automatically makes a new
| one).
| Now, we are having the following problem:
| - When the updates are installed, the computer asks the user to reboot. It
| gives a time-limit of 5 minutes, or just gives you the choice.
| We want to disable this function, and cannot find the solution on the web.
| We can delay the re-prompt, but that's just a workaround....
|
| Is there any way of disabling this function?
|
| Kind Regards,
| Menno van de Veen

It occurs to me that your next /best/ step is to download and read the WSUS
Deployment Guide.
(See the microsoft.com link in my sig.)

If you have questions after referring to the documentation, I'll be happy to
expand on the basics otherwise contained in the docs.
