Just after I entered my question, i found an article on the web that
mentioned just that. I discoveded that the issue seemed to lie with
permissions. I was able to "fix" the problem by creating a new profile and
giving it admin permissions. Thanks for your suggestion. It was the place to
go to find out what was happening.
