RE: XP SP2 start up screen problem

I get exactly the same, does anyone know how to fix this?

Dodser...This is the registry fix my son found. See here

It was executing a file that would open explorer.

The things that Microsoft had me do did not fix it...but my son did and
emailed this fix to Microsoft...hope it helps you as it did me...Glynnes
