Hello SNavas,
Correct, if you upgrade an Operating System and you encounter issues with a
particular software you may need to uninstall the application and reinstall
it to get it to function properly. Some files are installed for a particular
OS and Windows cannot update these files, they need to come from the
original install source. Corruption is a different matter. Corruption is a
broken file where missing or mismatched files are just not there or not the
correct version.
