Reading mail and postings...

Actually this is Hotmail-stuff, but,, reading postings/mail i got on one of
my many accounts,
i sometimes after reading 5 or more mails/pictures, just small red x'es !!!

How can i maintain that, so i NEVER se them but only attached pictures ??
