Hi,
I activated readyboost on my flashdrive a couple weeks ago, and is set it up
to use the max available space (almost 1gb). Now, i want to stop my computer
from using this drive as readyboost, so that i can stor info on it. Problem
is, when i open the ready boost tab to disable it all it says is that there
is not enough space on my flash drive to be used for readyboost. Also when i
view the drive in windows explorer, i cant save anything to it because nearly
all of it is shown as full i.e. my computer is usig it as ready boost. So in
other words, the part of my computer that is needed to disable readyboost
doesn't think i am running it, so i cant disable it and the ohter part of my
computer that i would use to save items to it thinks it is being used for
readyboost. What is up? How do i fix this? Thanks

Disable the ReadyBoost Service without the drive in... then reboot... put in
drive and
delete the readyboost file on the drive.

START - type services.msc
find ReadyBoost and DISABLE

Also look here :
