How exactly does that work? I know you have to have to have a flash drive
that's ready boost capable, but on this drive can you already have files on
it or does it have to be blank to work with ready boost?

It doesn't have to be blank, but there has to be enough space free to make
it all worthwhile.. e.g 1 - 1.5gb free on a 2gb drive would be good..
