Real simple question

Hi i'm new to Vista and I just wanted to know if Vista BASIC works with
directX 10 becaus i'm getting Geforce 8800GTS 320MB and I want to play games
in
DirectX 10 so does Vista Home Basic run games in Directx 10?

All versions of Windows Vista support DirectX10,
provided you install a video card that is also designed
to support DirectX.
