I was installing Vista but I don't understand Vista. My brother, Theory of
Everything is also in the same boat. We spent weeks going over Vista and
don't understand what is going on.

Did you "understand" Windows XP?

How do you go over it? Reading the help files, the registry, technet
articles, playing at the command prompt, recompileing the code?

You're not alone. Even MS doesn't understand Vista.

I understand it fine, I just don't LIKE it.
I don't understand why they felt the need to screw up something with such
potential with all the eye candy & supposed security improvements and forgot
to include (or leave) the functionality. I understand it is built on Server
code because they screwed up the original design so badly they had to rush
something (nearly) useable to market. But that doesn't excuse the downgrade
they released as an upgrade.

Didn't you say in some other NG(s) that you had formatted the machine's
HD, you got rid of Vista, and you were happy?

So why are you installing something that you never understood or will
understand?

Your logic doesn't make much sense. And why did you not cross post to
the other NG(s) you were so eagerly cross posting to the other day?

Ain't that the truth. The dummy programmers at Microsoft still haven't
come up with an answer to FULLY resolve the slow file copy/move issue
that MILLIONS of users must be experiencing, just to name one issue.
It was suppose to be fixed in SP1, but it was not.

Now watch the MS fanboy idiots pretend users having this problem don't
know how to install or configure Vista. That's the only response the
little **** ass monkeys are able to come up with.

I know it's not solving the actual issue, but one of the potential fixes
was to stop using the built-in NIC (if the PC has one) and replace it with
an actual card-based NIC.
