I tried to boot my computer but then the automatic system recovey thing
popped up. It kept on trying to fix the problem about 3 times and then
it said it could not fix it. I looked at the problem and in the detailed
version, it said this.

Problem event name: StartupRepairV2
problem signature 01: AutoFailover
Problem signature 02: 6.0.6001.1800.1.0.06001.18000
Problem signature 03: 4
Problem signature 04: 393222
Problem signature 05: CorruptFile
Problem signature 06: CorruptFile
Problem signature 07:3221226536
Problem signature 08: 3
Problem signature 09: WrpRepair
Problem signature 10: 0
OS version: 6.06001.2.1.0.256.1
Locale ID: 1033

Root cause:
Boot critical file C:\Windows\system32\drivers\sfsync02.sys is corrupt.
Please Help Me!

The file that is said to be corrupt is not a Windows file and may well be
malware.

See http://file.net/process/sfsync02.sys.html

http://www.neuber.com/taskmanager/pr...drv01.sys.html

Hi kingey,

I believe that's part of Starforce copy protection - comes with variou
games

I would use the file transfer Wizard on the free Paragon bootabl
rescue kit and delete it

'Paragon FREE Rescue Kit . Express - Don't wait fo
disaster, get instant data recovery software kit!

You should be able to find it i
C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\sfsync02.sys

You may find you have games that need it - check here for a newe
driver if you really need it

'Software Protection. Update Remove Driver
(http://www.star-force.com/support/drivers/

Hope it help

Do you, or did you ever have the game "Starforce"
this file is a left-over from the copy protection program use by the Starforce Program.
Can you boot into the safe mode to remove this file?
