realtek ac 97

i have found although i have sound i have lost voice. I was told that there
should be an update that i can do that will fix this. Does anyone have an
answer

Hi there,

I presume ou lost the voice after using windows update since this group is
meant for windows update issues.

Never take drivers from WU unless you want problems, only download an other
driver if you hardware is not working well: if it ain't broke: do NOT try to
"FIX" it.

Try rolling back on the current driver or use system restore in safe mode to
a previous point hwhere the problem did not occur.

If needed download the appropiate driver at
http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads
