reapeating downloads

hi
i have dell inspiron 1000 laptop
the automatic update keeps repeating the download.
like, i finish downloading the update, and it keeps poping up
that i didnt update it.
(kb896727) thats the update number
and
around last month
i was shutting down my computer and saw
the update message.
so i clicked that and i left it alone
but i shut my laptop by accident and i opend it again.
i think thats the reason for this problem

Hm, that's the Cumulative Update for IE from August 2005 which has
been replaced by KB896688 in October.

Did you install KB896688?
Which Windows version are you using?
Any hints in the "KB896727.log" and "KB896688.log" files?
Did you move the Program Files folder from the default values?
