reboot loop

My sp 2 install seemed to go just fine. when it asked to rebot answered yes
and then it went into a reboot loop... I could restart in safe mood but can
never start in regular mode. I am currently reverting using go back.. but of
course taking a long long time. Lap top is less than three months old. has
all the latest bells and whistles with big processor and lots of ram. So
this shouldn't be an issue. Any ideas how to get out of reboot hell??

Same problem with desktop! Need quick help! Can not get to safe mode to use
machine. Upgraded on 2 other machines ok but not this one.
