I have been running home xp for a while...no problems, except after starting
up the system will run great for about 20 minutes then it auto reboots.
After that it runs fine for a long as I'm on it. I've been told that it may
be the graphics or video card.
How do I check the hardware?

I've seen this problem with bad motherboards or motherboards that are not
compatible with XP fully.
Try the following in order first:

1. Make sure you have the latest bios for your motherboard
2. Consult with the company that makes your motherboard
3. Find another test video card and replace your existing one with it for a
test.

If you are unsure how to replace a video card search the net for information
or have a service person or friend that knows how do it for you.
