I know this is an old thread, but the people are still getting this error
and I haven't been able to get a clear answer from Microsoft's web site.
Later? One minute, one week one year? What?
I get the same error when I try to re-install parts of Live. Installation
ends with Error 0x80004005 while installing the picture viewer. From what
I've been able to tell this "may" relate to a MAPI error of some type.
Something about not accessing a database.
If that is true, what database does a picture viewer use?
