WLM(Windows Live Mail) supports both pop3, IMAP, and http access. The latter is restricted to use with a Live ID Hotmail type
account(Live.com, Hotmail.com, Msn.com).
Send and Receive in WLM is different than OE or Outlook
Send and Receive in Windows Live Mail 2009

WLM has the same settings as OE for Send/Receive at 'startup' and 'check for messages every [x] minutes'
If you have multiple accounts and do not wish separate folders for each account(Inbox, Sent, Drafts etc), then WLM may not be your
application of choice in Windows 7. In Windows 7 your other options are Outlook(from Office) or a third party email client.
