I was gone for six weeks and going directly to the internet to receive
emails. Now that I am home I am trying to get my emails through windows mail
and get the following message:

Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for
this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of
inactivity. Account: 'pop.digitalpath.net', Server: 'pop.digitalpath.net',
Protocol: POP3, Port: 995, Secure(SSL): Yes, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F

I am not very good with the computer and do not know how to fix this. Can
anyone help me out with step by step procedures????

Disable email scanning by your anti-virus application. It provides no
additional protection, it may be causing the problem, and even Symantec says
it's not necessary:

<QP>
Disabling Email Scanning does not leave you unprotected against viruses that
are distributed as email attachments. Norton AntiVirus Auto-Protect scans
incoming files as they are saved to your hard drive, including email and
email attachments. Email Scanning is just another layer on top of this. To
make sure that Auto-Protect is providing the maximum protection, keep
Auto-Protect enabled and run LiveUpdate regularly to ensure that you have
the most recent virus definitions.

I'm not finding anything that suggests pop.digitalpath.net supports port 995.
Try port 110 without SSL. You can make those changes by going to
Tools, Accounts, select that account, Properties, Advanced.
