Receiving error 0X800A01AD,

When trying to update Windows,, Have noticed I am not alone, and have tried
almost everything possible that has been suggested, Have gone to
start/run/regedit,All seems to be good there, then the
start/run/regsvr32wuaueng.dll,, get no where there,,
When I checked to see about the automatic running,, it says Account
information could nnont be set error 0X80070005, access denied, Try using the
task page browse button to locate the application ,
I am running XP, and service pack2, and have TelusSecurity, and also run
adaware,
I am a new one to this ,, and would appreciate any help that can be offered,

See if the information in this MSKB article, "Updates from the Windows
Update Web site are not installed and an Error 0x80070005: Access is denied
error message is logged to the Windows Update.log file" helps you to resolve
the problem:
