RECENT UPDATES CHANGE APPEARANCE

The last two times my Windows Automatic Updates have installed, all my
Appearance "Advanced" settings have been wiped out, as well as changing my
selection of Windows Classic back to Windows XP. Also, one of the more recent
updates, which was supposed to be for Office 2007 (I use Office 2002) changed
Excel 2002 so that the row and column highlight color is now grey, and cannot
be changed back to a custom color. I know how to change Appearance settings,
but I can change my highlight color and Excel row/column highlights
remaingrey -- this has only been a problem with the last two Automatic
Updates including the ones that downloaded on Jan. 9, 2008. Does anyone have
a fix for this?
