Recent updates will nt allow me to send email through Outlook 2003

I did all of the updates on 10-13-06 and now Outlook will not send new
emails. I can receive emails, but not send.

Should I remove the updates through Add/Remove?

Hi I 'm having same problem, but I cannot send or receive. Has anyone a
solution?
