I am running WMP 11 on Vista Home Premium.

In the "Library" tab there are a number of options to sort the view, like
"Artist", "Album", "Songs", etc.

Within the past two weeks, I've noticed that the button for "Recently Added"
has disappeared!

I use "Recently Added" often. Where did it go? How can I get it back?

Tony

It doesn't show up unless there are any recently added tracks, if I
recall correctly. Does it show back up if you add some new tracks?

Yes, I (had) recently added three new tracks - within the hour - and yes,
they are in my library - but when I add music, it's easier to find new
music in "Recently Added" than it is to search for it.

Any ideas?

From http://zachd.com/pss/pss.html :
"If you're using a non-US locale format for your Date, the Recently
Added feature won't work right (it likely won't show any content).
Either go to the Regional and Language Options control panel, click
Customize, click Date and use a MM/DD/YYYY form OR make your own
"Recently Added" playlist."

To make your own "Recently Added" playlist, right-click Playlists in the
tree on the left and click Create Auto Playlist. Enter a name for the
playlist and add the condition "Date Added" under "Music in my library".
You can then further customize the condition to something like "Date
added is after last 30 days" or "Date added is after yesterday".

Regards

I do use a US locale format for date (recall that I mentioned the button
USED to be there); however, thanks for the suggestion to make my own
"Recently Added" playlist.
