I am on a home network with two computers
One is Windows XP home edition, and the other
is Vista Home Premium. They are both desktops.
I use Verizon DSL. My Motem is Westell 6100.
My router is Linksys,Model BEFSR 41, Ver.3. I
had a great time figuring out how to get every-
thing to work right. Now I find that I will have to
do a recovery, on the Vista. My question is, after
the Recovery, will I have to redo everything to get
the network,working again?

You shouldn't have to do anything.
Vista should find and connect to the router automatically.
The only thing you may have to do is change the workgroup name if the
default setup by Vista is different than the workgroup name you use on the
XP machine.

May be and may be not, but if the issues you were having are not networking
related, I would say no.
