recovered from a serious error message

I get this message just about every morning. I found a download on
microsoft.com that is suppossed to fix it but shen I try to run the download
it tells me that it can not run it because I have sp2 and it is newer than
the fix.
Please help.

Please give details on which update you're attempting to download.
The message you're receiving means that the update is NOT meant for
SP2 systems. Best to post your issue in a Windows XP newsgroup.
